What art do we stock?
Our artists exhibit their work on consignment. This means we stock a wide range of high-quality artists, on rotation. We’ve been in business for 30 years. Over this time, the art world has evolved. But one thing remains unchanged – the value art still holds in our lives. At the Glenelg Art Gallery, we continue to help our customers find that perfect piece of art. Some of the types of art you’ll find include abstracts, seascapes, watercolours, portraits, oils, acrylics, charcoals, photography, crafts, indigenous artifacts, sculptures, and mosaics.
The best art in Adelaide
You’ll love our diverse mix of art, gifts, and furniture. Support many Indigenous artists who work in Adelaide. Some of the artists we showcase include Damian Marks, Bernadine Johnson, Stephen Pitjara, Debra Nangala, Allan McKenzie, Cedric Varcoe, Damien Marks, and David Moolooloo.
If you’re looking for a unique gift, visit our art and gift area. Browse trinkets and homewares that are perfect for presents. For example, Yellaka, a local Aboriginal dance, and culture group have handmade jewellery to symbolise strength, identity, and wisdom. These products are a testament to their learnings and pride in their identity and culture. This social enterprise supports young Aboriginal people in their cultural and spiritual renewal. Wear them, hang them, and decorate your home with these colourful products.
Make sure you check out Daintree chocolates, Made on Minjerribah ceramics, textiles, and prints, plus our hand-made clutches from Cambodia. Our shoulder and featherweight bags are designed by Warlukurlangu artists. We even sell natural, green-based skincare, if you’re looking to treat yourself.
