Dentist Point Souttar
To maintain healthy teeth and gums, it’s important to visit your dentist at least once a year. And with Lakeside Dental less than 40 minutes away, you don’t have to travel far to see your dentist. You’ll enjoy our state-of-the-art facility, with technology and staff you’d expect to see in a city surgery. We service people from all over the Yorke Peninsula, including Point Souttar. Our services include restorative dentistry, invisalign, child teeth check-ups, root canal treatment, dental implants, crowns and veneers, wisdom teeth removal, and dentures and bridges. While our treatments are at the level you’d expect from a city clinic, our customer service has that friendly country charm.
When to see a dentist
While we suggest seeing a dentist at least once a year for a check-up and clean, there are other instances that will require our support. For example, do you have pain or swelling in your mouth, face or neck? Experiencing an ongoing toothache or regular headaches? Are your gums acting up? Maybe you’ve noticed they bleed a lot or are painful as you brush. Do you have a family history of gum disease?
Are you self-conscious about your smile? Crooked or coffee-stained teeth? Do you need fillings or have you chipped a tooth? Having trouble eating? Regular jaw pain or a general soreness in your mouth? These are just a few of the reasons that might prompt you to seek dental support.

A scale & clean
Hey there, coffee and red wine lovers. We know these drinks are delicious but they stain our teeth. While there’s no need to give them up, you can take care of your teeth (and maintain their natural whiteness) through regular scale and cleans. While daily brushing minimises the build-up of plaque, some spots do get calcified. This is where professional cleaning comes in. With the use of hand instruments or a light touch of ultrasonic tips, we’ll remove the calculus and prevent long-term damage.
If you have a health fund membership, professional teeth cleaning are covered under your plan and you’ll just need to pay the gap (which is capped at $70).
